Calframo Ecofan 800

The Calframo Ecofan 800 is a heat-powered fan designed to circulate the warm air created by a wood-stove operating with normal surface temperatures of between 205°c and 345°c. The original 800 Ecofan generates up to 100 cubic feet (of air) per minute. A bi-metal strip in the base helps prevent the fan from overheating.

• Needs no electricity: The fans are powered by the heat from the stove increasing in speed as the stove heats up and slowing down in speed as the stove cools down.
• Circulates warm air more evenly around the room: Warm air can be directed towards the living area of the room meaning more efficient use of the heat before it rises to the ceiling.
• Silent in operation: The ecofan 800 is smooth and silent while in operation
• Works between surface temperatures of 205°c and 345°c : Works between 205°C and 345°C, typical surface temperatures of a wood burning stove
• Generates up to 100 cubic feet (of air) per minute : The smooth design of the twin fan blades allows the movement of 100 cubic feet of air per minute without concentrating too much air in one place of the room.
• Costs nothing extra to run : The ecofan uses the heat from the stove to operate so costs nothing extra to run!
• Made from anodised aluminium : Anodised aluminium is corrosion resistant and will not rust.
